Fiber Artist meets Stay At Home Mom meets
Work From Home Mom. It’s a wild ride.

Whether you stay home with the kids all day, work away from the house all day, or somewhere in between – you need a hobby to help you relax at the end of the day. For me, that’s all things fiber arts. It started with my grandmother teaching me to cross-stitch when I was a wee elementary aged child, and picked up in college when I avoided writing my thesis by learning to crochet. Since then I’ve accumulated the mass of fiber arts including embroidery, blackwork, weaving, and soon adding spinning my own threads and yarns. While this blog revolves heavily around educating aspiring fiber artists on their journey into a new hobby, I touch on my personal life over on the blog tab too!

I’m Courtney Schley, a fiber artist and stay at home mom.

You can often find me with an embroidery needle or crochet hook in hand, but I spend the rest of my time balancing parenting two awesome daughters and working for a local church plant. I can’t wait to share my love of fiber arts and daily life with you!
